Chris Wiwi is Associate Director of Analytical R&D at Celgene Cellular Therapeutics located in Warren, New Jersey.  Chris leads the analytical development and QC efforts for the advancement of Celgene Cellular Therapeutics' novel cellular therapy and regenerative medicine candidates from research to preclinical, clinical and commercial manufacturing.  His team is responsible for the selection, development and validation of analytical methods to assess cellular product identity, purity, safety, quality and potency. The QC Ops team, under Chris' leadership, provides quality testing support for the cell and biomaterial products manufactured at CCT.  Chris is active in the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine and AAPS Flow Cytometry Action Program Committee.  Prior to joining Celgene, he worked in biologics at Schering-Plough and Merck as a leader in large molecule analytics. His teams led the development and validation of pre-clinical and clinical pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity assays for multiple biologic drug development programs.  Chris received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Boston University and carried out postdoctoral research at Johnson & Johnson.
