Department of Transplantology and Central Tissue Bank , Medical University of Warsaw, Poland.

Member of  the Committee for Advanced Therapies, European Medicines Agency, London, UK (since 2012). Experience gained as a scientist, businessman and a regulator. PhD on the development of a biological heart valve (1990). From early nineties involved in development of human cell culture systems for in vitro toxicology and medical applications. Research Fellow at FRAME Lab., Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham UK (1990-1992). Involved in planning and execution of the first successful international validation study of a new alternative toxicological (in vitro) method.  Founding member of the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro. 2007-2011 Vice President and co-funder  of biotech company (tissue engineering). Co-founder of telemedicine company “Braster SA” (brest cancer detection system). Member of the editorial boards of Cell and Tissue Banking. Silver Medal of Merit for the contribution to tissue banking system in Poland. In 1998- 2003 Visiting Scientist at ECVAM JRC European Commission. 2003-2009 member of the ECVAM JRC Scientific Advisory Committee, JRC European Commission.  2005-2009 member of the National Ethical Committee for Animal Experimentation. More than 60 scientific publications in peer revived journals (cited more than 1000 times).
