Senior Vice President & Head of Manufacturing, Autolus Ltd

Jim Faulkner is responsible for process development, manufacturing and supply chain for Autolus. Autolus is a recently-formed spin-out from University College London (UCL) that is specialising in T-cell immunotherapy using Chimeric Antigen Receptor technology. Autolus is pursuing a number of targets with the aim of improving treatments for both haematological and solid cancers.

Previously, Jim was head of Manufacturing and Supply for the GSK Rare Diseases unit at GlaxoSmithkline, where he played an important role in developing their ex vivo gene therapy portfolio for serious rare childhood diseases.

Jim obtained his PhD in molecular biology in association with the University of Kent. He has a track record of publications and patents in the biopharm field.
