Robert most recently at Invetech leading their business development team where he was responsible for working with companies to understand their challenges and plans for commercial success in biologics, diagnostics and life science instrumentation.  Using his training and experience, Robert aligned technical and engineering staff from Invetech to work with clients and collaborate with them to plan, design, and develop products, processes, platforms and consumables that to be used by clients to achieve “Profit by Design” in biotechnology, cell therapy/regenerative medicine, and in-vitro diagnostics.

Robert is a trained microbial geneticist.  Robert started his career in clinical microbiology as a laboratory supervisor.   Thereafter, he moved on to work in various positions in in-vitro diagnostics (microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology and blood banking), blood services, laboratory instrumentation, and biologics.  Robert moved into a position as technical representative for API in 1975 and since then has held positions in business development, general management, marketing, sales and product development management.  The companies and positions of increasing responsibility include API a subsidiary of American Home Products (now Pfizer), Orgenics International Corporation (VP and GM NA Operations), the New York Blood Center (Director for Direct Patient Services), and Tomtec (VP-Marketing, Sales, & Service.  Robert earned his AB in Biology and MS in Microbial Genetics at Northeastern University, Boston, MA.  Robert also served as the Invetech representative to the Board of the Bioprocess Systems Alliance and the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) and was the 2012 & 2013 President of the Diagnostics Marketing Association (DxMA).
